Both height and depth of the hearth have increased, guaranteeing a vertical development and a more natural movement of the flame. Even the hearth and crucible have been cleaned and the shapes softened for a pleasant view even when the flame is out.

Thanks to a perfectly sealed combustion chamber, this product works by drawing oxygen exclusively from the outside and providing lower consumption and perfect thermal comfort in the most modern homes, even those in class A, without any risk of smoke emissions into the environment.

Thanks to the new ceramic glow plug, the flame appears in less than three minutes, with a 40% decrease in ignition times and a significant reduction in electricity consumption.

A completely new design keeps intact the most welcome feature of the "old" Philo: the possibility of regulating the frontal air flows in several directions. By opening the door on the top, two knobs are accessed, one on the left side and one on the right side, with which the direction of the heat flow can be managed as desired. In this product, the capacity of the ash drawer has been increased to almost 5 liters and that of the ash compartment to more than 8 litres, which corresponds to approximately one week of stove operation.

The No-Air function allows you to completely exclude or limit the forced ventilation of the stove to a minimum, guaranteeing maximum silence and all the pleasure of heat diffused into the room by natural convection.

The "brushless" gearmotor, made exclusively for MCZ, is used in the pellet loading auger. Compared to traditional gearmotors, it is more powerful, quieter and less energy consuming (electricity consumption reduced by 90% compared to traditional motors).
